The Stories behind the Scar (tm) - Breast Cancer
“I Cast 2 Empower” is raising awareness about breast cancer research to better understand, prevent and cure cancer. Breast Cancer happens all year round, and the rate of women affected by this terrible disease is extremely high. Therefore, with our mission to pay homage to courageous women who survived this terrible disease, “I Cast 2 Empower” is launching its 2nd annual breast cancer awareness campaign; this initiative is supported by the creation of original sculptures and canvas masterpieces inspired in "The Stories Behind the Scar" of Breast Cancer Survivors, as well as a great array of core values, as the proclamation of the “I Cast 2 Empower day” (November 14) by the Mayor of the city of Houston.
Our campaign’s creative process has also been documented in a short film and a book "The Stories behind the Scar" (tm), which will be released later this year. Here is a link of the preview of the documentary.
